Kuwait condemns UAV attack on Abdali crossing at Iraqi border

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack on the Abdali crossing, located at the Iraqi border in the north of the country. In a statement issued by the ministry, it was noted that the attack is part of systematic attacks by Iran and its affiliated groups against the country, emphasizing that these actions violate international law and the United Nations Charter.

This incident occurred during a period when tensions between the US and Iran have spread throughout the entire region. While the conflicts affect various regions including the Gulf countries and Jordan, pro-Iranian armed groups moving from Iraqi territory are also carrying out attacks on regional targets.

Meanwhile, Washington completed the 12th day of its attacks against Iran; according to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, at least two people were killed and eleven injured in the Khuzestan province on the Iran-Iraq border. While diplomacy between the two countries has hardened, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio claimed that Iran is begging for an agreement; Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi argued that a compromise would be impossible unless the US changes its stance.
