19 people arrested in FETÖ investigation regarding the death of Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu

19 suspects were arrested in the FETÖ investigation conducted regarding the helicopter crash in which the Founding General President of the Great Union Party (BBP), Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu, and those with him lost their lives. Simultaneous operations were carried out in 10 provinces under the coordination of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

As part of the investigation, raids were conducted on 30 addresses and 27 of the 29 suspects, for whom detention orders were issued, were apprehended. The suspects were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station.

The suspects were charged with aiding and abetting the crime of "premeditated intentional killing." While 19 of the suspects, who were brought to court upon the prosecutor's request for arrest, were sent to prison, 8 were released under judicial control conditions. It was reported that efforts to capture 2 fugitive suspects are ongoing.
