Warning from Prof. Dr. Naci Görür for Marmara: We expect the great earthquake in the northern branch shortly

Following the 3.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, renowned geologist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür issued a critical warning for the Marmara Region. Drawing attention to the increasing tension in the fault lines of the region, Görür stated that the expected great earthquake could occur on the northern branch of the North Anatolian Fault Line.

Emphasizing that there is a high probability of the great earthquake occurring in the near future, the official stated that it is necessary to be careful for the settlements in the region.
