These ruthless clashes engaged in by organizations seeking to establish control in the region seriously and negatively affect the lives of innocent civilians.

Terán Baldovino, nicknamed the 'Hitman', currently operates within the 4th front of the FARC dissidents and is conducting a harsh crackdown against the civilian population. According to information provided by authorities, he ruthlessly uses the intelligence data he gathered from his past criminal organization connections to intimidate the civilian population. In particular, he has increased his attacks and harassment against peasants who have been forced to provide logistical or livelihood support to various criminal groups in the region. His use of rich local geographical knowledge and the residents' personal information has made these targeted harassment operations even more efficient. This situation has caused the impoverished farmers in the region to be forced to both abandon their homes and fear for their lives.

This criminal's corrupt career reveals how complex and constantly changing the armed conflicts in the Antioquia region are. According to details shared by General Martínez, the individual in question was once an active member of the criminal organization named Clan del Golfo. However, following armed clashes that occurred in the rural areas of the Yalí municipality, a fierce internal conflict took place within the organization, leading to his departure. Seizing this internal turmoil as an opportunity, Terán switched sides by joining the insurgent dissidents.
