Triple J's 'One Night Stand' Music Festival to Be Held in Griffith This Year

Australia's famous music festival One Night Stand will be held in the city of Griffith for the first time this year. Griffith won the right to host this major event by leaving dozens of regional rivals behind. The event, which will take place at Griffith Showground on Saturday, 5 September, stands out for being open to all ages and offering an alcohol/drug-free area.

Australia's most popular musicians such as DMA'S, Genesis Owusu, Ninajirachi, MAY-A, and Beddy Rays will take the stage at the event. A heavy demand is anticipated for tickets to the festival, which is expected to draw up to 15,000 attendees. Officials note that tickets could sell out within 24 hours, encouraging locals to act quickly.

The city's cultural diversity and its experience with major events were decisive in Griffith's selection. Officials stated that the festival is a proud moment and a unique opportunity for the region. To facilitate transportation on the day of the event, a free shuttle service will also be provided for attendees.
