New threat from Trump to Iran: Attack on Mount Kazma and warning of a 'Saddam-like end'

US President Donald Trump announced that military operations against Iran are continuing, and that the Mount Kazma region—where the Tehran administration is alleged to be constructing new facilities for nuclear activities—will be struck very soon and with great force. Meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun in Washington, Trump stated, "We eliminated Iran's bad people," claiming they will do to Iran what they did to Saddam Hussein.

Closing the door to calls for dialogue and a diplomatic solution, Trump emphasized that Iran desperately wants to negotiate, but they have no intention of negotiating until a meaningful stage is reached mutually. According to news reports based on intelligence sources, a new facility is allegedly being constructed 80 to 100 meters deep beneath the hard granite structure of Mount Kazma, located just one and a half kilometers from the Natanz Nuclear Facility.

According to the Axios news portal, which is close to the White House, the US and Israel are keeping two different options on the table against Iran. In addition to a 10-day temporary ceasefire plan aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz to traffic, presented through the mediation of countries such as Qatar, Egypt, and Pakistan, an all-out war option aimed at making Tehran completely surrender is also being considered. Despite the military buildup maintained by deploying dozens of fighter jets to the region, it is noted that Iran's influence in the Strait of Hormuz has not yet been broken.
