Attack on Turkish ships in Black Sea: Ukrainian Ambassador summoned to Foreign Ministry

On August 26, the Turkish-operated vessel 'Lider Bordo Mavi' was hit off the coast of Tuapse in the Black Sea. A day later, the vessel 'Lider Kocatepe', sent to tow the ship, was also targeted. Following these incidents, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Ukraine's Ambassador to Ankara to convey its reaction.

During the meeting, Turkey emphasized the necessity of ensuring the safety of life, property, navigation, and the marine environment in the Black Sea. Necessary warnings were issued regarding the attacks. No official statement has yet been made regarding who carried out the attack or whether there were any casualties.
