Demand for release issued for the Porras Gámez family detained in Venezuela

In Venezuela, the family of Enyerbert Porras, a young man recently released under precautionary measures, is calling on authorities to release three other family members still held in prison. The family demands the urgent release of the detained mother Yohana Gámez, her daughter Yuliana Porras, and the father José Aníbal Porras.

According to the family, on the morning of 25 March 2025, individuals dressed in black and heavily armed entered their home in San Cristóbal without any court order. The family members detained during this raid remain in prison despite 16 months having passed.

The family members, who are claimed by their relatives to have had no evidence presented against them, are being prosecuted on charges of money laundering, forming a criminal organization, and terrorism. The family continues to fight for justice and the release of their loved ones during this process.
