Hungary's Constitutional Court Announces Transition Plan Following President Polt

The Hungarian Parliament adopted the 17th Constitutional amendment, which introduces a 70-year age limit for Constitutional Court members.

This new regulation will terminate the mandates of five judges, including the current President Polt Péter. Whether President Sulyok Tamás will sign the amendment currently remains uncertain.
