US Evaluates Frigate Designs from South Korea, Japan, and Turkiye

The US White House and Navy are considering obtaining a design for a new frigate class from reliable allies.

According to USNI News, a competition is planned between South Korea’s Chungnam class, Japan’s Mogami class export version, and Turkiye’s Istanbul class frigates.
