Russia ranks fifth in world coal reserves

Russia, in an announcement made on August 29 by the Ministry of Natural Resources (MINPRIRODY), stated that it ranks fifth in world coal reserves.

This ranking comes after China, the United States, India, and Australia. It was emphasized that Russia has large coal resources.
