As a result of a comprehensive study conducted under the coordination of the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and by the teams of the Moral Bureau Department of the Provincial Police Department Public Security Branch Office, a major operation was carried out against prostitution activities. The main objective of the operation was to identify prostitution incidents in the city, prevent the spread of infectious and venereal diseases in terms of public health, and to examine the situations of women who were evaluated to be forced into prostitution and rescue them from the influence of the criminal organization. Additionally, one of the most important goals of the project was to apprehend the suspects whose crimes were determined and hand them over to justice.

The preparation process was planned with the intensive use of detailed and technical tracking. Teams monitored the suspects both physically and technically for approximately three months and documented their activities. Following this long tracking period, action was taken to collect sufficient evidence and fully decrypt the network of the organization. Within the scope of the project file, a planned operation was launched simultaneously in the city center of Antalya and Adana province on June 30, 2026, around 07:00 AM. The simultaneous execution of the operation in these two cities revealed the geographical spread and dimensions of the organization.

Following the simultaneous raids, a total of 17 suspects were apprehended and detained in the operations. Of these suspects, 16 were recorded as male and 1 as female, and important information was obtained about the structure of the network. In the searches and detailed examinations carried out in houses, a large number of digital materials and cash, evaluated to have been obtained from the activities, were seized. While the teams confiscated 24 mobile phones and 3 computers, a large amount of money determined to be 247,400 TL, 3,410 Euros and 1,570 dollars was also seized as evidence of crime. These amounts revealed the revenue capacity of the criminal organization.

One of the most humane and striking results of the operation was the rescue of the victims. As a result of the planning and examinations, 35 women who were evaluated to be involved in these criminal activities and were in a victim status were safely rescued by the police teams. A process was initiated for these women both to be rescued from forced situations and to undergo health checks. The number of determined suspects increased by one more person with the examinations conducted after the operation, rising to 18, and it was understood that the investigation was deepening.

After the completion of the questioning and procedures at the police department, the suspects were referred to the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Following the judicial procedures and the statement-taking processes by the prosecutor's office, it was decided to release 4 of the suspects on condition of judicial control. However, according to the nature of the crime and the state of evidence, 14 suspects within the scope of the file were detained by the magistrate's court they were brought to and sent to prison. These detentions reinforced the success of the operation and the determination in the fight against crime.
