World Champion Spain Envelops Madrid with Victory Tour

The Spanish national football team took a victory tour through the streets of Madrid following their triumph in the World Cup final. The first stop where the intense interest of the fans began was the airport; when the national team landed at Madrid-Barajas Airport on Monday, hundreds of supporters greeted them with flags. Later that afternoon, the team attended a reception at the Zarzuela Palace, the residence of the royal family. King Felipe VI of Spain congratulated the players, describing the victory as an "epic triumph."

Following the palace visit, the delegation was welcomed by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez at La Moncloa. Sánchez congratulated the team and expressed his hope for the continuation of this success in Spanish sports history. Meanwhile, FIFA announced that it would open an official investigation due to the on-pitch incidents involving Argentine national team players after the match played against Spain.
