Bodies of 5 Bangladeshis Who Lost Their Lives in Traffic Accident in Qatar Being Sent to Their Country

Final preparations have been completed to repatriate the bodies of five Bangladeshi workers who lost their lives in a tragic traffic accident in Qatar's Şaniya region. According to an official letter sent by the Labor Wing of the Bangladesh Dhaka Embassy, the bodies will be transported on Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG 226. The plane is expected to take off from Hamad International Airport in Qatar on Monday at 22.15 local time. Authorities announced that the bodies will reach MAG Osmani International Airport in Sylhet, Bangladesh, on Tuesday morning at 06.50. During this process, all transport and logistics expenses are covered by the country's Expatriates' Welfare Board.

The names of the five deceased workers were announced as Abdul Kadir, Mostak Ahmed Afnan, Jubayer Ahmed, Jasim Uddin, and Jibal Ahmed. It was stated that all of these individuals resided in the Kanaighat upazila area of Bangladesh's Sylhet district and that their families live there. Following the accident, Bangladeshi authorities immediately established a crisis desk to alleviate the families' grief and support them during their mourning. Bangladeshi officials promptly concluded all necessary diplomatic and bureaucratic procedures to receive the bodies of the deceased workers.
