Narcotics Operation in Kırıkkale: 17 Thousand Drug Pills Seized, 3 People Arrested

An important operation was carried out by the Kırıkkale Police Department Narcotic Crimes Branch teams to decipher drug trafficking in Kırıkkale. Under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous raids were conducted on the residences of suspects named A.İ., Y.A., and S.Ç..In the searches conducted at the suspects' addresses within the scope of the operation, a large number of synthetic drug pills and drug raw materials, estimated to have a high market value, were found. According to statements made by police authorities, a total of 17 thousand 227 synthetic drug pills were seized in the searches at the addresses.In addition to the seized drugs, 84.01 grams of raw material believed to be used in synthetic drug production and 40 thousand 500 lira in cash, estimated to be obtained from drug trafficking, were seized by security forces. These amounts constituted important evidence of how large the suspects' place in the drug sales network in the region and the scale of the trade were.The detainees, after their initial statements were taken at the police department, were invited to give statements by the prosecutor at the judicial authorities to which they were referred. After the completion of the prosecutor's interrogation, the suspects were referred to the duty court with a request for arrest. As a result of the trial by the court, it was decided to arrest the suspects after finding them guilty of drug trafficking.3 suspects, for whom arrest warrants existed and who were neutralized as a result of the operation, were arrested under the Sulh Ceza Hakimliği and sent to prison. This successful operation once again demonstrated the determination of security forces in the fight against drug use and sales in Kırıkkale.
