MS Dhoni Backed Garuda Aerospace Partners with Micron Instruments for Defense Drones

Indian drone manufacturer Garuda Aerospace, currently in its IPO process, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Micron Instruments Pvt. Ltd., a local firm that produces precision fuzes, defense ammunition systems, and critical military components. This strategic partnership, where both companies complement each other, is considered a significant step toward the development of indigenous and national defense technologies in the country. Under the agreement, the parties will work closely on product distribution, joint technology development, and defense-oriented projects. The main goal of this collaboration is to provide innovative solutions to the Indian defense industry by combining the technical expertise of both organizations. Integrating Garuda Aerospace's advanced drone technologies with Micron Instruments' deep experience in custom-designed fuzes aims to enable the rapid development of next-generation defense systems. Within the scope of this collaboration, it is planned to produce critical technological products such as loitering munitions, or suicide drones, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with payload capacity, and advanced unmanned systems. Combining the R&D efforts of the two companies will allow existing military technologies to become much more efficient and effective. Consequently, both the design process of the unmanned systems to be deployed in the field will be shortened, and their operational capabilities will be enhanced.
