OPPO Enco Air 5 Announced: Advanced Noise Cancellation and Long Battery Life

Chinese technology giant OPPO is counting the days to offer the Enco Air 5, a new member of its successful wireless headphone series, to consumers. Following the company's launch of the Enco Air 5 Pro model in February, all eyes were turned to the standard version with a more accessible price point. With the official launch event to be held in a few days, all the mysterious aspects and detailed features of the device will become clear. Users and technology enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for detailed information to be shared, especially regarding the sound technologies and daily usage advantages of the new model. With its release date now clear, this new headphone aims to claim a ambitious position in the audio technologies market.

The official launch of OPPO Enco Air 5 will take place on 2 July 2026, a date closely followed by the technology world. Positioned as a more affordable alternative, this model does not contain any disadvantage that would negatively affect the overall user experience, even though it has a very small difference in noise cancellation compared to the Pro version. Although the device's price tag is not yet finalized, it is expected to take its place in global markets at a cost around the 42 dollar mark, considering the 48 dollar launch price of the Pro model and the hardware differences between them. Looking at the Turkey market, OPPO's already affordable models like Enco Buds 2 are sold through distributors. For this reason, it is considered a strong possibility that the new model will also enter the country with an importer warranty and take its place on the shelves at a price of around 4.500 TL including taxes.

The audio and connection hardware of the headphone has been shaped to more than meet mid-segment expectations. The device features 12 mm dynamic drivers and is designed to offer a rich sound experience. The Sound Master EQ feature, which offers three different preset sound profiles that can be adjusted according to users' music listening habits and allows personalization, is also included in this model. On the connectivity side, the use of the current Bluetooth 6.1 standard enables the devices to offer perfect synchronization with a low latency mode. Thanks to the support for connecting to two different devices with both iOS and Android operating systems at the same time, users gain great flexibility when switching between tablets and phones. The fact that each earbud weighs only 4,3 grams also stands out as an indicator that it will not cause any ear fatigue during long-term use.

Thanks to the developed active noise cancellation (ANC) technology, OPPO Enco Air 5 can successfully filter external sounds up to 52 dB. Suppressing many disturbing noises, from low-frequency hums in public transport vehicles such as subways, buses, and planes to air conditioning noises, this feature adapts to the environment it is used in with its dynamic structure. For example, in quiet environments such as libraries, the noise cancellation level is automatically reduced, both protecting ear health and saving battery. The triple microphone array and environmental noise cancellation (ENC) algorithms that come into play during phone calls bring the user's voice to the forefront. This advanced microphone technology makes it possible for the other party to hear your voice smoothly and clearly, even when walking outdoors on windy days.

In terms of battery life and energy management, the device is equipped at a level that more than meets users' expectations. When the active noise cancellation feature is off, each earbud promises up to 13 hours of uninterrupted use on a single charge, and up to 54 hours in total when the charging case is included. Even with the noise cancellation feature on, it delivers sufficient performance by offering up to 6,5 hours per earbud and up to 27 hours with the case, easily meeting daily needs. Offering a practical solution for long journeys or intense work tempos, the fast charging support provides an extremely impressive efficiency. The fact that users can listen to music for up to 11 hours with just a 10-minute charge proves that the device will be a great savior in situations where one is away from an outlet.
