In the severe traffic accident in Şanlıurfa's Viranşehir district, the truck driver lost his life.

In a traffic accident that occurred in the evening hours in Şanlıurfa's Viranşehir district and caused great sorrow in the region, serious consequences emerged as a result of a collision between a truck and a lorry. The accident took place near Kırlık Mahallesi on the Viranşehir-Şanlıurfa highway, when the truck with license plate 27 AZK 454 and the lorry with license plate 63 AGV 616 collided for an as yet undetermined reason. Due to the severity of the collision, both drivers remained trapped inside the vehicles, and efforts were made with difficulty to rescue them from their positions. Upon the news of the incident, a large number of emergency aid teams were dispatched to the area following the notification by citizens in the vicinity, and rescue work was initiated immediately.

Fire, health, and gendarmerie teams who reached the scene of the accident made intense efforts to rescue the drivers who were trapped in the vehicles. The other vehicle driver injured in the accident, the lorry driver Hüseyin K., was taken to Viranşehir Devlet Hastanesi by ambulance after the first emergency intervention was performed at the scene. There is currently no official statement to the public regarding the health status of the injured person who was admitted to the hospital for treatment, and developments are being followed closely.
