New research published by Irvine-based IT services firm TrustedTech revealed a huge gap between leaders and employees in artificial intelligence usage within companies. While more than three-fourths of company leaders are confident in using artificial intelligence in the workplace, this rate was measured at only 43 percent among lower-level employees.
According to the research, employees with the highest risk of losing their jobs due to artificial intelligence in the workforce receive the least support to keep up with this transformation. Julian Hamood, founder of TrustedTech, stated that the workforce most likely to be replaced by artificial intelligence also tends to avoid this technology with fear.
Hamood emphasized that the main reason for the situation is the lack of training, expressing that a climate of fear has emerged because no one has shown employees how to use artificial intelligence safely and effectively. It was noted that more comprehensive details on the subject will be included in the print publication dated July 20.
