Red Flood Code Issued for Prahova and Dâmbovița Rivers in Romania

A red flood code, the highest level for flood risk, has been issued in Romania's Prahova region.

Ro-Alert warning messages were broadcast by authorities for the local population. As a result of the overflow of the Prahova and Dâmbovița rivers, severe flooding occurred in many surrounding settlements.
