Geely targets 5-minute charging with 1000-volt architecture

Chinese Geely Holding Group is developing a new 1000-volt electric architecture to radically shorten the charging time of electric vehicles.

The goal is to surpass the current market benchmark by charging the battery from 10% to 80% in 5 minutes 32 seconds.
