Miami Marlins selected Rintaro Sasaki from Stanford University in the MLB draft

The Major League Baseball (MLB) new player draft was held on 12 July in Philadelphia.

At the event, the Miami Marlins team selected Japanese infielder Rintaro Sasaki, who studies at Stanford University, in the 8th round.
