Police Officers Attacked in South Carolina, USA: 1 Dead, 1 Injured

A police officer was killed and another injured in a shootout at a park in Columbia, the capital of the US state of South Carolina.

The incident began when two officers responded to a domestic violence call. The suspect was killed by return fire from the police.
