FETÖ Operation in 81 Provinces on the Anniversary of the July 15 Coup Attempt: 968 Detentions

The Ministries of Interior and Justice announced that a large-scale FETÖ operation was launched across the country on the occasion of the anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt. As part of the simultaneous operations conducted in 81 provinces, detention orders were issued for 968 suspects.

The provinces with the highest number of suspects in the operation were announced as Ankara, İzmir, and İstanbul. It was stated that efforts targeting the current and covert structures of the terrorist organization are being meticulously continued in other provinces.

In the joint statement issued by the Ministries, it was emphasized that the state, with all its institutions, displays an uncompromising struggle against formations that attempt to undermine democracy and the will of the nation. It was expressed that the struggle, carried out with strong coordination, will continue with the same determination.
