Fire breaks out in wheat field in Elazığ: Flames growing under the influence of wind were extinguished

The fire that broke out in a wheat field in Esentepe Mahallesi in Elazığ caused concern and alarm in the region. The fire, which started for an unknown reason, posed a great risk as the harvest time in the field was approaching. It was learned that upon the local people realizing the incident, the situation was urgently reported to the authorities and help was requested.

As a result of the extinguishing work, the flames were completely stopped, and cooling work was aimed at eliminating the risk of possible re-ignition. With the end of activities in the region, the fact that the fire remained limited to the field area and no loss of life occurred was recorded as a positive development.
