Horrific Arson Attempt in Eskişehir: Attacker Escaped

In Orta Mahalle, Odunpazarı district of Eskişehir, an unspeakable crime was committed late at night by an unidentified individual. The masked attacker, arriving at the front of the standalone house numbered 3 on Tekin Sokak, poured flammable liquid he brought with him, set it on fire, and quickly fled the scene. The fire grew rapidly, engulfing the entrance and windows of the building, while the fact that the residents were attending a wedding at the time proved to be the greatest luck in averting a potential disaster. Thanks to the vigilance and quick report of bystanders, police and fire crews were dispatched to the area. Teams affiliated with the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department intervened quickly, preventing the flames from spreading to surrounding structures, and brought the fire under control to extinguish it. As the residents were not home, no loss of life or injuries occurred, while inspections were initiated regarding material damage. Following their initial examination at the scene, police teams launched a large-scale investigation to identify and apprehend the fleeing suspect. Teams reviewing security camera footage and taking statements from surrounding individuals pursued the attacker. While citizens living in the region were in a state of panic following this terrifying event, officials stated that no information regarding any suspect being detained has been shared so far.
