Last Day for FIVB Beach Volleyball Coaching Course Applications is 4 July

The pre-registration process for the FIVB Beach Volleyball Coaching Course, organized to enable beach volleyball coaches in Turkey to receive training according to international standards, is coming to an end. Under the auspices of the Turkey Volleyball Federation, in collaboration with Alanya Municipality, Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), and Boardee Sports Organization, this important educational program will stop accepting applications on July 4, 2026, Saturday. The course, which is awaited with great curiosity in the sports community and attracts intense interest, will offer a certificate with international validity, enabling local coaches to become more competitive in the global arena.

The training program will be held between August 5-9, 2026, at the 23 Projects Alanya International Beach Sports Center, one of Alanya's prominent facilities. Conducted by expert trainers assigned by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), the course offers participants a comprehensive education opportunity from infrastructure to the peak. Coaches and sports candidates participating in the program will receive theoretical and practical training on many critical topics such as current training methodologies, technical and tactical development processes, talented athlete training methods, detailed training planning, and effective communication skills.

Details regarding the capacity and participant profile of the course have also been clarified; initially, the quota is limited to 30 people, but it is predicted that this number could be increased to 45 with the approval of the FIVB depending on the intensity of demand. Applications will be meticulously evaluated by the Organizing Committee, taking into account the candidates' previous coaching history, volleyball experience, recommendation letters from national federations, and current quota status. It is specifically emphasized to candidates that making a pre-registration does not guarantee acceptance into the course, and that a selective process will be carried out.

Who can apply for this comprehensive educational program has also a wide range of scope; in addition to beach volleyball and indoor volleyball coaches, coaches working in club and school teams, national athletes continuing their active sports lives or retired athletes, physical education teachers, academics working in the field of sports sciences, relevant university students, and managers in technical positions at sports federations can participate in the program. Among the mandatory conditions for application are that candidates must be over 18 years of age, have a command of English at the level of education (the language of the training), and commit to participate fully in the entire course program.

At the end of the course, participants who succeed will be given a document valid in the international arena, and those who attend at least 90% of the program, successfully complete the practical training, and pass the assessments will be entitled to receive the 'FIVB Beach Volleyball Coaches Course Certificate'. After the completion of the pre-registration process, candidates who pass the evaluation will be sent an official acceptance letter, granting them definitive registration rights, and payment transactions will be made only by accepted candidates. Therefore, all candidates who wish to take part in the training need to complete their applications by July 4, 2026, and not miss this opportunity.
