Ifthenpay Converts Sales into Revenue by Bringing Payment Integration to Salesforce

Ifthenpay, a Portugal-based digital payment company, announced a new native integration solution called 'Ifthenpay | Payment Gateway' for the Salesforce platform on Monday. This new tool was developed to enable companies to directly manage their financial flows within their customer relationship management (CRM) platform. The application is available to all users via AppExchange, Salesforce's official app store. Thus, businesses can consolidate all their commercial processes in a single technological environment without needing to switch between different platforms. The company stated that this step was taken to address the payment management challenges frequently encountered in the modern business ecosystem.

The main goal of the new generation payment gateway solution is to completely eliminate the need for external platforms in processes such as invoicing, payment tracking, and financial reconciliation. Thanks to this structure, the entire cycle, from the emergence of a business opportunity to the actual entry of revenue into the company's safe, is centralized. The application allows sales teams to create and send payment requests without leaving the Salesforce screen. Additionally, it enables tracking the status of each transaction in real-time and automatically matching financial flows with relevant business opportunities. Thanks to this new tool, which can be integrated with existing automation workflows, companies can conduct approval, notification, and reconciliation processes much more efficiently.

Ifthenpay co-founder Nuno Breda noted that for years, companies have viewed sales and payment processes as two completely separate and independent processes. However, according to Breda, for a sale to be definitively considered complete, the generated revenue must physically enter the company's account. This new integration brings these two critical moments closer together, paving the way for managing the entire commercial cycle on a single platform. According to the co-founder, this approach provides companies with much greater simplicity, control, and efficiency. Removing operational friction offers institutions uninterrupted visibility into the course of each opportunity, thereby improving both the customer and employee experience.

The Santa Maria da Feira-based technology company describes this new move as a natural continuation of its consolidation and growth-oriented strategy. Ifthenpay announced that it achieved a turnover of 8,13 million euros in 2025 and successfully processed payments worth approximately 1,8 billion euros. Currently serving over 33 thousand customers both in Portugal and in the international markets where it operates, the institution is increasing its impact day by day. The company's other co-founder, Filipe Moura, emphasized that their long-term vision is to create a payment ecosystem integrated with the platforms businesses use daily. Moura added that this newly developed tool was meticulously designed both to be easy to implement and to meet the needs of institutions of different scales.

Moura also stated that this integration adds great value to businesses, particularly because it reduces manual workload and significantly increases data reliability. Having operated in the finance and technology market for over twenty years, Ifthenpay is specialized in digital payment solutions for the corporate segment. The services offered by the company include traditional methods such as Multibanco, MB Way, Payshop, Visa, and Mastercard cards, as well as innovative models like 'buy now pay later' and 'pay-by-link'.
