One person lost their life and one person was injured in a knife fight in the pond in Ödemiş district of İzmir.

A tragic incident in the evening hours at Atabey Göleti, a tourist area in Ödemiş district of İzmir, has brought security concerns back to the agenda. According to reports, an argument between a group of people near the pond for an undetermined reason quickly escalated into a knife fight. Despite the intervention of security forces and medical teams dispatched to the scene, one person died and another was injured as a result of the fight.

The attack victim, who was seriously injured by knife blows during the fight, could not be saved despite all interventions at the scene and lost his life.
