According to the news, an audio recording of a meeting between Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda and individuals alleged to be US agents or intermediaries was leaked to the press. In the recording, the governor is claimed to be willing to share what she heard in security meetings. While the governor confirmed that the audio recording belongs to her, she argues that she did not hide any illicit activity and that they could not prove the individuals she met with were actual officials.
