MHP Deputy Erbaş Emphasized That the Turkish Nation Protected Its Will on 15 July

MHP Kütahya Deputy Ahmet Erbaş issued a message on the occasion of 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day. Erbaş stated that the night of 15 July 2016 was a historical turning point that showed the spirit of unity and solidarity of the Turkish nation to the whole world.

Stating that the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and state institutions were targeted during the coup attempt carried out by FETÖ, Erbaş noted that these attacks posed a threat to independence and the democratic order. The deputy emphasized that the attempt was thwarted thanks to the decisive stance of the state and the common will of the people.

Erbaş expressed that on that night, millions of citizens, regardless of their political views and backgrounds, demonstrated a common stance and protected democracy. Offering his condolences to the martyrs and his gratitude to the veterans and the nation, Erbaş stated that unity and solidarity will continue to be protected against all kinds of threats.
