In Moskova, a bus passenger claimed 500 thousand rubles left by another passenger

A bus passenger in the Kuzey Butovo district of Moskova found a folder full of money left behind on the back of a seat. Instead of returning the money to its owner or handing it over to the police, the passenger kept it and left the scene.

A 35-year-old woman from Moskova Oblastı, who was the owner of the lost money, reported the situation to the police. Police teams quickly identified the suspect and apprehended them on Akademik Gluşko Caddesi.

While the found 500 thousand rubles were returned completely to its legal owner, a lawsuit was filed against the suspect on theft charges. In Russia, claiming forgotten items belonging to others also constitutes the crime of theft. It was reported that a judicial control order was applied to the suspect, who is being tried without detention.
