Nepal's Foreign Employment Department digitizes decades-old fraud case records

The Department of Foreign Employment in Nepal has accelerated the search, organization, and digital archiving of thousands of foreign employment fraud case files that had been stored for nearly 25 years. Initiated under the directive of Minister Ramji Yadav and led by Director General Mira Acharya, the campaign has recovered files dating back to 2000 and completed physical archiving. Scanning and digital copy preparation are progressing, with plans to develop a digital tracking system for more efficient case handling. The initiative aims to provide faster, transparent services to victims awaiting justice.
