Russia hits Kyiv with 40 ballistic missiles in an hour; Ukraine targets infrastructure in Russia and Crimea

Russia carried out the most extensive ballistic missile attack on Kyiv since the invasion began in 2022. The Russian army ensured that approximately 40 ballistic missiles launched from the Bryansk region hit the capital in just 53 minutes. It was reported that one person was killed and more than 16 people were injured in the attack.

Ukrainian forces also launched attacks on various targets in Russia and Crimea in retaliation. Ukrainian drones struck an oil depot in the city of Mihaylovsk in Russia's Stavropol region, marking the third attack on the same facility in recent weeks. Additionally, explosions were reported in the city of Lugansk.

In Crimea, an electrical substation in Yalta was hit as a result of Ukrainian drone attacks targeting infrastructure. A fire that broke out at the substation caused power outages in the area. These events demonstrated once again that the war continues with intense clashes for both sides.
