One of Russia's largest attacks since the beginning of the war took place in Kyiv

Russia carried out one of the largest air strikes on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, since the war began. In the attack, which involved more than 40 missiles and more than 120 drones, at least one person was killed and 16 people were injured.

The attack caused extensive damage to several residential buildings, and fires that broke out in different parts of the capital required the dispatch of firefighters and emergency teams to the area. The Ukrainian army announced that in response to the Russian attack, retaliatory operations were carried out against oil tankers belonging to the Russian "ghost fleet" in the Black Sea and oil depots in southern Russia.
