Horrible Work Accident at Factory in Sakarya: Çorumlu Truck Driver Lost His Life

In a factory located in the Arifiye district of Sakarya that manufactures steel construction, a truck driver lost his life after being crushed horrifically by steel pipes that fell on top of him. According to obtained information and initial investigations, the incident occurred while 65-year-old Cemal Odabaş, known to be from the Osmancık district of Çorum and continuing his professional life, was trying to untie the load binding rope on the trailer of his vehicle. During this time, Odabaş was seriously injured as a result of one or a group of steel pipes, which were standing unbalanced on the trailer, getting out of control and falling on him. It was shared that the Odabaş family had been residing in the Akçakoca district of Düzce for a while and that the truck driver involved in the accident regularly transported materials to this factory in Arifiye, and was there on the day of the incident as part of a routine shipment.
