Vehicle plunges into crowd at festival in Chile: 6 dead

At least 6 people lost their lives after an SUV driver lost control and crashed into stalls during a festival in Chile. It was announced that the deceased consist of a total of six people, three men and three women.

While seven people were injured in the accident, among the wounded are two 8-month-old babies. The injured were taken to the hospital and reported to be in non-life-threatening condition.

The driver was detained at the scene; it was learned that the angry crowd beat the vehicle with sticks and iron bars. Security forces continue their investigations in the area.
