Metro İstanbul announced that it will implement a temporary service change on the T1 Kabataş-Bağcılar Tramway Line due to natural gas infrastructure works. Between 17-20 July, tram services will only operate between the Kabataş and Soğanlı stations.
In this context, tram transportation between Güngören and Bağcılar will be completely suspended. To prevent passengers in the area from being affected, free İETT buses will be deployed by İstanbul Ulaşım A.Ş.
The maintenance and infrastructure works in question will continue for four days. Once the works are completed, the normal operation of the line is planned to resume as of 21 July.
