On Friday, 10 Temmuz, a magnitude 3,9 earthquake occurred in Venezuela's capital, Caracas, and La Guaira state. According to the preliminary report published by the Venezuela Sismolojik Araştırmalar Vakfı (Funvisis), the tremor was recorded at 10:53 local time, and its epicenter was determined to be 10 kilometers northeast of Naiguatá. In statements shared on social media platforms, citizens stated that the movement was quite strong but short-lived. Additionally, many people stated that they panicked, noting that chairs and other items moved out of place during the tremor. The authority added that the structures in the red category will be evaluated at more advanced technical tables.
