Apple's new CEO John Ternus, Tim Cook moves to Board Chairmanship

Apple appointed John Ternus as new CEO effective September 1, ending Tim Cook's 15-year tenure; Cook will continue as Board Chairman.

Ternus is a mechanical engineer who has served at Apple since 2001 and led hardware engineering.
