US Congress Extends AGOA to 2028

The US Congress has approved the text extending the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) until December 2028.

Following the green light given by the Senate on August 8, the House of Representatives also adopted the text with a large majority. This decision will now go to President Donald Trump's desk for signature.
