Islands of Music at Accademia Chigiana: Hans Werner Henze and Contemporary Masters

Accademia Chigiana, a well-established music institution located in the historic city of Siena, Italy, brings art lovers together with a long weekend event series themed ``Islands of Music''. The festival stands out this year with a special section dedicated to contemporary music, focusing particularly on the famous German composer Hans Werner Henze. Later that evening, the Luciano Pavarotti Vakfı Senfoni Orkestrası, led by young talents, will take the stage at the Teatro dei Rinnovati to enchant the audience. This symphonic concert, featuring works from Wesendonck-Lieder and Mendelssohn, will be performed under the direction of masterclass students.
