Municipal Bus Accident in Ankara Mamak: 7 Injured, Power Outage in the Area

A tragic accident occurred in the Mamak district of Ankara when a municipal bus lost steering control while continuing its route. The spinning bus first crashed into a transformer, then hit three parked cars. The bus eventually came to a stop only after crashing into an auto accessories shop.

First aid was administered to the injured by health, fire department, and police teams dispatched to the area immediately after the incident. A total of 7 people injured in the accident, including the bus driver, were taken to nearby hospitals to receive medical treatment.

Due to the collision, the transformer was damaged, causing a power outage in the surrounding areas. While police teams increased security measures in the area, it was stated that the exact cause of the accident will be determined following a technical investigation.
