Forest fire extinguished near the village of Hırsovo in Blagoevgrad

The forest fire that broke out near the village of Hırsovo in Bulgaria's Blagoevgrad province has been brought under control and extinguished. The fire affected approximately 6-7 decares of coniferous forested area in the Gorni Dvuyatsi neighborhood region.

Thanks to the rapid response at the scene, the flames were extinguished within the area they had grown to, without spreading to the residential areas in the region. Relevant rescue and firefighting teams continued reconnaissance and cooling efforts in the area to prevent the flames from reaching surrounding houses.

Authorities launched a detailed investigation into the cause of the fire. It is noted that such forest fires can generally occur due to human negligence or extreme temperatures.
