Brutal Massacre by POCSO Suspect in Hindistan: 6 Killed

A horrific massacre in the Telangana state of Hindistan has plunged the entire country into deep shock and horror. 35-year-old Raju Kumar, a suspect in a rape case under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act, is alleged to have brutally murdered six people. In addition to the victim, a 16-year-old girl, the suspect's own wife and two children also lost their lives in the massacre. The incident, which took place both in the Shabad town of the Ranga Reddy district and the Raiwala settlement in Haydarabad, caused massive panic in the region. After the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, police forces launched a large-scale and intensive operation to capture him.

The chain of events began to take a tragic shape on Cuma evening around 22.45. The suspect went to the Shabad town, approximately six kilometers away, and arrived at the family home of the POCSO victim. The attacker stabbed and killed the girl's 42-year-old mother who opened the door, then forcibly entered the house and ruthlessly slaughtered the girl's sleeping grandmother. He then forced the young girl into his car and took her to a lake near his village. After stabbing the young girl repeatedly to death, the murderer ruthlessly threw her body into the waters of the lake.

It was revealed that after brutally killing three people, the suspect returned to his own home around 23.21. An even more horrifying scenario unfolded there; it was reported that he slit the throats of his sleeping 31-year-old wife and his two sons, aged four and eighteen respectively. Following this gruesome familicide, the suspect called his father, who lives in Shabad, and confessed to what had happened. Shortly after informing his father, he fled the scene in his car. The suspect's father, who reported the incident, immediately notified the police authorities, paving the way for the investigation of the incident.

It was learned that behind this brutality lay a very serious sexual abuse case filed against the suspect. According to a statement from the Shabad police, this comprehensive case against the suspect was recorded in Mayıs. However, the suspect was released on bail in Haziran, came out, and then planned and executed this blood-curdling massacre. Authorities confirmed that the suspect is still at large and operations to capture him are continuing at full speed. The local people, who are experiencing the shame of the massacre, criticize the release on bail of such a dangerous suspect as a serious matter of trust for the police and the judicial system.

Haydarabad City Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi made statements to inform the public about the incident. Joshi stated that the suspect is still in hiding and that a meticulous search operation is ongoing due to the possibility that he might pose a danger anywhere in the city. Furthermore, he noted that the exact motivation behind the suspect resorting to such a brutal method of killing the victim's family and those involved has not yet been fully clarified. Authorities announced that the six bodies recovered from the scene were transferred to the official morgue for forensic examination. Following this inhuman massacre, the weaknesses of the judicial system and the effectiveness of child protection mechanisms in Hindistan, which are frequently brought to the agenda especially in cases of sexual crimes and violence, have once again come under scrutiny.
