Iran: US Attack on Hormuz Strait Control Answered in 15 Minutes

Iranian Army Spokesperson Brigadier General Muhammed Ekraminiye stated that the US attempt to weaken Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz began with attacks on Sirri Island on August 30, and that Iran responded decisively within 15 minutes. Ekraminiye noted that Iran targeted four US bases in the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait using Fattah surface-to-surface missiles and Arash-2 combat UAVs. It was reported that these weapons were equipped with new artificial intelligence-supported systems, enabling them to hit targets easily.

Iranian officials emphasized that their military doctrines have shifted to preemptive operations based on 12-day and 40-day war experiences, and that they will continue this policy within the framework of UN legitimacy when they perceive a threat. The spokesperson stated that previous attacks on US bases in Jordan, Syria, and Iraq's Kurdistan region were also examples of this doctrine. He added that any Zionist regime attack on Palestinian territories will now be targeted more easily, quickly, and decisively.
