New 112 Station to Reduce Emergency Response Time Opens in Kütahya OSB

In order to strengthen Kütahya's emergency health infrastructure, the Zafertepe 112 Emergency Health Services Station was officially opened. The modern facility, built within the Organize Sanayi Bölgesi (OSB), is expected to significantly shorten the response time to emergencies that may occur during industrial activities in the region. Senior officials such as Kütahya Valisi Musa Işın, AK Parti Kütahya Milletvekili İsmail Çağlar Bayırcı, Kütahya İl Sağlık Müdürü Doç. Dr. Ensar Durmuş, and Kütahya OSB Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Tolga Eskioğlu attended the opening ceremony. Officials emphasized that the new station assumes a life-saving function in all emergency cases, especially occupational accidents. The ceremony was held with the intense participation of healthcare workers and the great satisfaction of the local people.

Kütahya İl Sağlık Müdürü Doç. Dr. Ensar Durmuş shared important details regarding the city's current emergency healthcare capacity in his speech at the opening. He stated that approximately 3 thousand healthcare workers are employed throughout the city and that about 500 of these personnel directly serve in emergency healthcare services. Stating that a total of 30 emergency health stations in Kütahya intervened in 55 thousand different cases last year, Durmuş expressed that a large part of this burden was handled by 10 stations in the city center. He added to his words that the goal of reaching emergency cases in the city center within 10 minutes and cases in rural areas within 30 minutes is currently achieved with a success rate of over 95 percent. These data indicate that Kütahya exhibits a performance above the country's averages in emergency health services.

The newly opened station was placed in a strategic location, considering the needs of the Kütahya Organize Sanayi Bölgesi in particular. Aimed at reducing the response time to potential occupational accidents that may occur in the factories operating in the region to near-zero levels, the facility was built on an approximately 700-square-meter plot of land. The building, which has a closed usage area of 160 square meters, is equipped with 5 rooms and a large ambulance garage. The experienced team, which previously served in a temporary area at the Kütahya Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi campus, will now continue its operations in this new and well-equipped center. This relocation allows for more efficient use of equipment as well as the improvement of the staff's working conditions.

Kütahya OSB Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Tolga Eskioğlu stated with satisfaction that this new and critical investment meets one of the most important needs of the region. Stating that the facility was built as a result of meticulous work in line with the projects approved by the Sağlık Bakanlığı, Eskioğlu emphasized that industrialists operating in the OSB made great contributions during the financing process. This situation was shown as concrete proof that valuable works can be brought to the city through the collaboration of the public and private sectors. AK Parti Kütahya Milletvekili İsmail Çağlar Bayırcı also stated that investments in the healthcare field in the city continue uninterruptedly, expressing that the station accelerating the access of citizens and workers to emergency services provides a great advantage.

Speaking at the closing of the ceremony, Kütahya Valisi Musa Işın stated that the city has reached a very important and gratifying level in terms of healthcare services. Stating that the new Zafertepe 112 Acil Sağlık İstasyonu will provide a high level of assurance to the local people and workers, Vali Işın offered his thanks to everyone who contributed to the realization of the facility. Vali Işın also emphasized that healthy collaborations between local governments and industrial organizations will continue to bring new and permanent investments to Kütahya. As a result, this opening in the industrial region not only meets a local need but also sets an exemplary model for emergency management of organized industrial zones across the country. This development stands out as part of a holistic vision that supports both Kütahya's economic growth and social welfare.
