Muslim Groups Launch Anti-BDS Initiative Encouraging Investment in Israel

A new coalition of Muslim organizations has launched a new initiative as an alternative to the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel. This group, named the 'Unbreakable Bond Coalition', aims to encourage investment in companies operated or employed by Palestinians and Arab citizens of Israel. The initiative is planned to officially launch on 9 July. The group aims to encourage at least 500.000 pro-Israel supporters to invest in Israeli treasury bonds. Significant approval has been obtained from the local government for the construction of a new synagogue in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx borough in New York. The Land Use Committee of Bronx Community Board 8 approved the project, planned to be built on Arlington Avenue, this month.
