Norway Announces $9.2 Billion Support Package for Ukraine

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre announced a support package worth 85 billion Norwegian kroner (approximately $9.2 billion) for Ukraine. This package is designed to ensure the stability of Ukraine's financial and military aid as the country approaches a critical phase in its war with Russia.

The new commitment from Norway indicates that the country will continue to provide long-term support to Ukraine. Part of Norway's aid will be directed towards defense needs. The war between Ukraine and Russia continues with an increase in drone and missile attacks on economic and infrastructure targets. Both sides are attempting to attack energy grids, industrial facilities, and other critical infrastructure.
