Pakistan Minister of Agriculture: Morocco Fertilizer Partnership Critical for National Food Security

Pakistan's Federal Minister of National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, emphasized the vital importance of the partnership established with Morocco for his country's food security. During his visit to the Pakistan Maroc Phosphore S.A. (PMP) facilities in Jorf Lasfar, Morocco, Minister Hussain stated that the project holds extremely strategic value for Pakistan. This facility was launched with the vision of providing uninterrupted access to phosphate-based fertilizer, one of the most fundamental needs of Pakistan's agriculture. The statements were evaluated as an indicator of the importance given to the stability of the agricultural sector and, consequently, the security of the national food supply.
